A BLESSING FOR PARENTS
May you be gentle with the places in you that ache. May you recognize that what rises in parenting is not failure, but memory seeking care.
May you offer to yourself the patience you are learning to offer your child. May the love you extend outward also find its way home.
When old grief surfaces, may you pause rather than harden. When you feel lost, may you remember that repair is sacred.
May you trust that every moment of presence—no matter how brief—matters. May you forgive yourself for what you did not receive, and for what you are still learning to give.
May your child feel your humanity, not your perfection, and may the child you once were finally rest in your arms.
Amen.
