A SACRED PATH - through trauma and return
Mine has been a long and elemental journey—thirty-eight winters and awakenings shaped by the fierce grace of recovery. It began with the reckoning of a body undone by alcohol, yes—but beneath that, a deeper truth stirred: that my wounds did not begin with my choices, but with the first breaths of a world that did not know how to hold me.
From the earliest seasons of life, suffering took root—not as a flaw, but as an inheritance. I carried it not only in memory, but in breath, pulse, and nerve—woven into the very rhythm of my being. No path carved by science alone could reach it. The trauma was too intricate, too mythic, too sacred in its devastation.
And so I left the well-lit roads. I became a seeker—not of answers, but of wholeness. In the absence of maps, I followed instinct, dream, and the quiet teachings of the body. What others called dysfunction, I began to see as initiation. Necessity gave birth to ritual. Desperation taught me devotion.
Some days I moved only an inch, clinging to a single ember of faith. Some nights I thought the fire would go out entirely. But it never did. And over time, that ember became a flame. What emerged was not merely recovery, but rebirth—a weaving of ancient memory and modern knowing. Of psychology and spirit. Of body and star.
What I teach is not a technique—it is a lived path. An integrative, soul-rooted process that moves through the nervous system, the energetic body, the mythic soul. A descent and a return. A remembering of what was never truly lost. This work harnesses the synergy of ancient wisdom and quantum insight—illuminating trauma at its core, and opening the gates to profound liberation.
Tea and Zen is a sanctuary where science and spirit meet. A space of listening, of witnessing, of deep transformation. Here, the cellular and the sacred walk side by side. Through continuous exploration and practice, I delve into the psychological, energetic, neurological, and cellular roots of trauma—awakening new possibilities for restoration at every level of being.
