Discovering Inner Peace: Navigating the Path of Meditation

The primary insight I strive to convey to those I guide in meditation is that the peace, love, and equanimity they seek are already intrinsic to their being. This essence has perpetually resided within them and always will—it's not something external that we acquire during a meditation session; rather, it's a constant presence in our lives, though most often out of our awareness.
While many refer to meditation as mindfulness, I personally resonate more with the concept of heartfulness. For me, meditation is about quieting the mind to access the realm of the heart, where all love and peace reside, ever-present within us.
As Ram Dass wisely emphasized, when we cease our incessant thinking and talking, we open ourselves to a profound and enduring peace within, to the universal love that is eternal and ever-present, always ready to envelop us, in its embrace.
It's our thoughts and words that create a perceived distance from the absolute reality our hearts yearn for. This distance, however, is but a moment's realization away, in all reality, though it often feels far away due to our ingrained sense of separation.
