Nothing Is Missing In Silence.

In silence, nothing is missing. Nothing needs to be found, repaired, or completed. And here, beneath all the noise of wanting and becoming, love reveals itself—quiet, whole, and unadulterated.

Because the sense that something is missing belongs to thought. It requires a comparison: this should be different; there should be more; I should be somewhere else.

Silence makes no such comparison.

In silence, nothing is waiting to be completed. Nothing is asking to be added. Even longing, when it arises, arises within something that is already whole.

Perhaps that is why silence can initially feel so empty—and eventually so full.

Nothing is missing in silence, because silence has never asked for anything to be there.

And there, love is found unadulterated.

Not love mixed with wanting, needing, possessing, remembering, or hoping. Not love directed toward an object, nor dependent upon being loved in return.

Just love before it has been made into anything.

Silence is love, unadulterated.

May the work offered here serve peace, serve healing, serve remembrance, and serve the quiet dignity of being alive. May this sanctuary belong not to one person alone, but to the field of life itself.

And may all who encounter it feel, even for a moment, that nothing is missing and they are not alone.
