Aspects of Healing

In watching the news recently, I am reminded that….

There are certain behaviors within humanity that serve as defenses against fear. And as always with fear, beneath it lies an original grief.

Arrogance, cruelty, deception, and unkindness….among others…..are not true reflections of a soul’s nature, but rather the armor it wears. When someone moves through the world with arrogance, they are, in essence, shielding themselves from fear, with a deeper sorrow resting beneath. The harsher the mask, the more tender the wound within.

Anger, too, is a veil for grief. When anger arises, it is not merely a reaction but a revelation….grief, long carried, being touched by the weight of experience. Expressed as fire, yet born from water, anger is the soul’s attempt to release what it has yet to fully grieve.

To see with clarity is to recognize these expressions for what they truly are…not as threats, but as echoes of pain longing for transmutation. Through this understanding, one may move with compassion, offering not resistance but presence….and in presence, healing.
