ON LOVE
People have very different views and ideas of the word Love, of what it means to them...to numerous to count, this is what I have come to understand it means to me.
When I speak of Love, I am not speaking of romance, nor of preference, nor of the fleeting warmth of affection. I am speaking of the deepest force in the universe — the field in which all things arise, dissolve, and are made whole again.
Love is not a feeling, though it may move through our feelings. Love is not an idea, though we may try to give it names. Love is the original coherence — the vastness that holds even our wounds, our failures, our grief.
To enter Love is to discover that nothing is beyond healing. Every wound can soften, every shadow can be met, every exile can be welcomed home. For Love does not oppose darkness; it illumines it. Love does not erase suffering; it enfolds it until suffering remembers its own place in the larger light.
When I say Love heals, I do not mean that it rescues us from life. I mean that it restores us to life — whole, tender, true. In surrendering to Love, we cease fighting the currents that have always carried us. We discover that what we thought was broken beyond repair is already held, already mending, already known.
Love is vast. So vast that we cannot contain it, only be contained by it. So vast that even our resistance is embraced. So vast that our very existence is a testament to it.
This is the Love I point toward. This is the Love I serve.
Love is the breath of the soul, the eternal current that flows through us, guiding us home. When we root ourselves in Love….pure, unconditional, infinite….we become vessels for creation, and everything we touch begins to reflect that light.
