SELF-CARE AS AN ACT OF REMEMBERING.
A reflection on self-care as an act of remembrance — returning gently to the deeper ground of one’s own life beneath the noise, exhaustion, and forgetting.
This is something I wrote several years ago that I still occasionally send out — usually during those moments when I need to remember the importance of self-care for myself as well.
At its heart, it’s really about self-care as an act of remembering.
I hope you may find something useful in it for your own life.
May the work offered here serve peace, serve healing, serve remembrance, and serve the quiet dignity of being alive. May this sanctuary belong not to one person alone, but to the field of life itself.
And may all who encounter it feel, even for a moment, that nothing is missing and they are not alone.
